There is a casual vacancy on Saltburn, Marske & New Marske Parish Council for the position of a Parish Councillor in Mickledales.
The electoral term of office is from May 2019 to May 2023. These vacancy will be filled by co-option
Any person interested in being co-opted as a Parish Councillor should write to the Council office with brief details of their suitability, to be received before Noon on Wednesday 5th June 2019
All applications will then be considered by the Council on Tuesday 11 June 2019
The successful applicants will be expected to attend meetings each month on a voluntary basis. There is no remuneration for this post. The Parish Council meets in the Library of Saltburn Learning Campus on the second Tuesday of every month (except August). Additional meetings and Committee meetings are generally held on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings.
It is a Local Government Act condition that Councillors either live or work within the Parish Council boundary or within three miles of it, are a British citizen or a citizen of the Commonwealth or European Union and are at least 18 years of age. It is a further condition that Councillors must declare all their interests and comply with the Parish Council Code of Conduct.
