Plaques were unveiled on Sunday 29 September 2019 to commemorate Jackie Taylor and her community involvement with Saltburn over many years. Despite atrocious weather conditions many people turned up to see the Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, Councillor Billy Wells, unveil a plaque in the Station Portico and another at Saltburn Bandstand.

At our Christmas Carol Service a collection was taken in aid of the chosen charities of our Chairman, Councillor Stuart Smith. This year the monies raised (£430) were to be donated to Friends of Saltburn, for the Christmas lights in Saltburn and Emmanuel Church, where the service was held.
